I love staying in rentals when on vacation. There’s just something so lovely about being able to move about in your own rhythm and space and enjoying a home-cooked meal when you’re away from home. It’s even better when you can share that experience (and the cost) with friends. Double score if the Moon Mountain Retreat is home for the next two days of your corporate offsite.
We arrived at sunset up a windy drive and found this view waiting for us at the top. Wine flowed. Music played. And all that was left to do was to soak up the last rays of sunshine in the day.
Between working sessions, we took the time to get to know each other over meals and impromptu pow-wows on the lawn.
The house had ample space for our team of nine, with bedrooms set across two floors and a separate suite below. The rooms were farmhouse chic, but more importantly, provided me with two nights of much needed rest.
